The European Imaging and Sound Association, or EISA, started out as a special interest group formed by industry leaders. 30 years on, this close-knit group of leaders expanded to more than 20 countries to form part of the panel of judges. This panel hands out annual coveted EISA awards to winners of respective imaging and sound categories. Audison, an in-car entertainment (ICE) brand, benefits from this annual recognition from the EISA panel – the firm has been constantly bagging EISA awards over the years, justifying its strong position in the ICE industry. These four Audison products are packaged under the Audison EISA Award series, which is part of the company’s effort to market the best of what it has to offer.

Winner of the EISA Award in year 2010-2011, developers of the AV K6 2-way component speaker system embarked on a no holds barred approach to deliver the most technologically advanced components for the benefit of audiophiles seeking for a fitting upgrade from OEM setups. Part of the Voce speaker series, these speakers are made for the audio enthusiast, with technology trickling down from the top-end Thesis line.
The system’s power handling is rated at 125 Watts at continuous power, and 250 Watts when performing at its peak range. Impedance is rated at 4 Ohms, with a frequency response of up to 22 kHz.
The 28mm tweeters feature domes made from Tetolon, a combination of silk and cotton with proprietary damping treatment, provides low mass and resonance-free response up to ultrasonic frequencies. CCAW (Copper Clad Aluminium Wire) voice coil, Rear Damping Chamber, and High flux density Neodymium REN magnets that faithfully reproduces the highs with clarity.
The 165mm woofers feature an “open-air” design, Butyl rubber “Triple Wave” surround profiles, CCAW voice coils, cotton-fibre pressed paper cone with “Light Damping” treatment and Radial Venting System. Together, these add up to a system that will deliver consistent performance, no matter how demanding the conditions get.
