Shell Singapore has launches its most advanced and innovative fuel formulation yet, Dynaflex Technology, across its Shell Fuel Save and Shell V-Power fuels to help drivers clean and protect their engines for an efficient drive.
The new Dynaflex Technology is designed to tackle the unique challenges posed by modern engines. Car manufacturers are making smaller, yet more powerful engines, making them more susceptible to dirt that can impede performance.
The new Shell Fuel Save 95 and 98 petrol with Dynaflex Technology have 20% more friction reducing molecules than previous formulations from Shell. Additionally, it instantly forms a protective layer in critical parts of the engine such as intake valves and fuel injectors, keeping it clean and protected, and allowing it to run smoothly and efficiently.
New Shell V-Power with boosted Dynaflex Technology is Shell’s best efficiency and performance fuel, delivering higher levels of cleaning and protection for the engine. It claims to offer three times more cleaning and friction reducing molecules than in Shell FuelSave petrol, removing up to 80% of performance-robbing deposits. The new and improved Shell V.Power not only helps to improve engine condition, it also helps to maximise energy from the fuel.
This exciting new chapter in Shell fuels is the result of more than five years of extensive research and development, involving thorough testing with more than 250 cars and over three million kilometres.
Amr Adel, Vice President Retail East, said, “Singapore is a key market for Shell, and we are committed to deliver better products and services that make customers life’s journeys better Building a sustainable future, revitalising our operations and staying relevant with new innovations is part of that commitment. We have invested years of research into fine tuning and testing the new Dynaflex Technology formulation for the best results, and now we are excited to introduce the future of fuels to our customers.”
“Innovation for the good of our customers is the lifeblood of Shell, which is why through the years, we’re dedicated to evolving our fuels to meet the needs of our customers. The new Shell fuels with Dynaflex Technology is testament to our passion in curating new experiences and products for our customers – whether they are on the road or when they visit our refreshed Shell stations,” said Aarti Nagarajan, General Manager, Retail Sales & Operations, Shell Singapore.
Modern vehicle engines today expose fuels to tougher conditions than ever before. Our new Dynaflex Technology is specially designed and formulated with powerful cleaning agents to protect the engine from performance robbing deposits. It also contains our new friction modifier which helps reduce energy wasted as heat, and helps improve engine efficiency,” added Shell Fuels Scientist Andreas Schaefer, who was part of the team that developed the new Shell Fuels with Dynaflex Technology.
The new Shell fuels with Dynaflex Technology are available at all Shell stations nationwide from today. For more information, please refer to www.shell.com.sg.
